Ph.RECLUS

Astronomy is one of the oldest scientific disciplines, and has a long history of progress in our understanding of the universe. It differs from laboratory sciences such as chemistry or biology in several important ways. More specifically, astronomy is based on observation and collection of data from various sources to understand physical phenomena rather than experiences carried out in controlled environments as in other scientific disciplines.
